I had YAG laser hair removal for my chin 6 years ago. I am 42 now and the hair on my chin is back and thicker and spread a bit to my upper neck. No doubt hormonal.
I need a safe laser treatment again but I think electrolysis is a better PERMANENT option.
I need the best solution. I am African American with a Carmel complexion but plucking my chin has left dark acne scars. The hair is “finer” but regrow FAST. Can you assist?

Permanent hair removal is not a reality because everyone is different with their hormones and genetics. A yag is the safest for darker skin tones and that is what we use for our clients.
I usually tell ladies because we are so lucky to have hormones that it is a life long progress and just know that you will have to have treatments here and there throughout your life. Now with that being said from what it sounds like i would suggest 1 package of 3 treatments because you just need touch ups. You do not have to go through 9 treatments (which is what we suggest) unless you have had some crazy changes in your body. New medications that cause hair growth, babies, menopause, etc.
Electrolysis they say is permanent but once again, you can’t control what your body will do. Or i would be skinny.
if you have any more questions we would be happy to answer them.
